1/100 MG GN-001 Gundam Exia Ignition Mode (Finished)

Finally, managed to finish this guy. Took quite of my time, but he's finished. I've decided to go for the 'anime' look (no decals and clear stickers).

Size comparison:

Next to 1/144 HG Gundam Exia.

HG Exia and Exia R2.

Next to 1/100 MG 0 Gundam  RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. One Year War (man, that's mouthful).

Overview:

Overall, this is a nice kit. Has a few problem, but nothing too serious (for me).

+tive side:

  • decent articulation.
  • all parts are molded in right color (almost no painting, just panel-lining).
  • chrome-plated blades, LED unit and extra part to convert to Repair version (for Ignition mode).

-tive side:

  • unable to replicate pose from anime.
  • loose part on right hand, right thumb and one of the beam saber port (on the shoulder).
  • extra part for converting into Repair version are nothing special (at least, for me as I have no use for it).
With that said, I humbly give this model kit a 4/5 point.
